The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the subject-wise schedule for the UGC NET June 2026 examination. Candidates appearing for the exam can now check the dates and timings for their respective subjects.
The UGC NET 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from June 22 to June 30. Exams will be held in two shifts every day across various centres in the country.
UGC NET June 2026 Exam Timing
According to NTA, the examination will be conducted in the following shifts:
Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Shift 2: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
More than 80 subjects have been scheduled during the examination period, including popular subjects such as Political Science, Commerce, Economics, History, Psychology, Computer Science, Law and Education.

Exam City Slip and Admit Card Details
NTA has announced that exam city intimation slips will be released around 8 to 10 days before the examination begins. Candidates scheduled to appear on June 22 are likely to receive their city details between June 12 and June 14.
The admit cards will be issued separately a few days before the examination. Candidates are advised to carefully verify their exam city, subject code, reporting time and shift details once the documents are available.
