Mercedes-Benz is gearing up to introduce the updated S-Class facelift in India tomorrow. First showcased globally in January 2026, the refreshed luxury sedan is expected to arrive with notable enhancements in styling, technology, software integration, and powertrain options.

Exterior Design Gets a Modern Refresh

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz S-Class facelift receives several visual upgrades aimed at strengthening its road presence. One of the most noticeable changes is a larger front grille, now illuminated and featuring distinctive three-dimensional chrome star elements.

The iconic Mercedes-Benz hood ornament also gains an illuminated function, adding to the premium appeal. The sedan adopts the brand’s latest Digital Light technology powered by micro-LEDs, while redesigned headlamps incorporate signature twin-star lighting graphics.

At the rear, the taillamps feature new star-inspired elements. The luxury sedan also introduces a projection feature that displays the Mercedes-Benz logo on the ground whenever passengers enter or exit the vehicle.

Technology-Focused Cabin Experience

Inside, the facelifted S-Class embraces an even more advanced digital environment. The cabin is equipped with a triple-screen setup consisting of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.4-inch central infotainment display, and a 12.3-inch front passenger screen.

All displays operate on the latest MB OS platform, promising smoother functionality and improved responsiveness. Mercedes-Benz has also introduced a redesigned steering wheel featuring physical controls for easier operation.

Enhanced Rear-Seat Luxury

Rear passengers can expect an upgraded comfort experience with dual detachable 13.1-inch entertainment screens. The luxury sedan also supports video conferencing capabilities and offers more sophisticated ambient lighting.

Additional comfort-focused features are expected to further strengthen the S-Class’ position as one of the most luxurious sedans in its segment.

AI-Powered MBUX System

The updated S-Class comes equipped with the latest generation MBUX infotainment system enhanced with artificial intelligence. It also integrates ChatGPT-powered conversational capabilities, allowing more natural voice interactions and improved user assistance.
