The National Testing Agency has activated a dedicated online portal for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) who require a scribe for the upcoming NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Eligible candidates can now submit the necessary writer details through the official website before the deadline.
The registration facility is available only for candidates appearing in the NEET UG re-test and will remain open until June 12, 2026, at 11:50 PM.
NEET UG Re-Exam Scheduled for June 21
According to the examination schedule released by NTA, the NEET UG 2026 re-examination will be conducted on June 21, 2026. The test will take place in pen-and-paper mode and will be held in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM at designated examination centres across the country.
Candidates are advised to complete all required formalities well before the examination date to avoid last-minute issues.
Exam City Slips Released Ahead of Admit Cards
To help students make travel arrangements in advance, NTA has already made the exam city intimation slips available on the candidate portal. These slips inform candidates about the city where their examination centre is located.
Meanwhile, the official admit cards are expected to be released on or before June 14, 2026. The admit card will contain detailed information, including the exact examination centre address, reporting time, roll number, and important exam-day instructions.

Candidates eligible for scribe assistance can complete the process by following these steps:

Open your candidate dashboard and select the “Register Scribe Details” option. This feature will only be visible to eligible PwD/PwBD candidates.

Understand the Difference Between City Slip and Admit Card
NTA has advised candidates not to confuse the exam city intimation slip with the admit card.
The city intimation slip only provides information about the city where the examination centre has been allotted. It is intended to help students plan their travel and accommodation arrangements in advance.
The admit card, on the other hand, is the official document required for entry into the examination centre. It includes important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, examination venue, reporting time, and examination guidelines.
Candidates Must Download Both Documents
Students appearing for the re-examination should ensure that they download and print both the city intimation slip and the admit card separately. Carrying the admit card on the examination day is mandatory for entry into the test centre.
