Under the new system, digital surveillance, fewer examination centres, and defined responsibilities for parents have been introduced. Strictness in Exams and New Monitoring System
For UP Board Exam 2026, the council has clearly stated that the examination will now be fully monitoring-based. The number of centres has been reduced compared to previous years to maintain better control. Almost every centre will now have CCTV cameras and live monitoring. A central control room will keep watch over exam activities.
Students have been advised to avoid any shortcuts and keep their admit card and identity proof ready in advance. The board has also asked parents not to put unnecessary pressure on children and to cooperate in maintaining discipline during the examination.The purpose of digital monitoring is not only to prevent cheating but also to ensure fair evaluation. Experts believe this will benefit meritorious students and make results more reliable.

Board officials have released model papers to help students understand the exam pattern. Live sessions were also organized on YouTube explaining time management, revision techniques, and ways to reduce mental stress.Helpline numbers have been issued for students and parents to resolve any examination-related problems. Additionally, registration from Classes 9 and 11 has been made mandatory to simplify academic tracking of students.
