Tej Pratap Yadav, elder son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, announced his intention to contest from the Mahua Assembly constituency in the upcoming elections. This has left sitting MLA Mukesh Roshan in a state of despair, fearing for his political future.
During a hospital inauguration in Hajipur on Sunday, Tej Pratap stated, “I have built roads, hospitals, and ensured development in Mahua. If not me, then who will contest from here?”
Mukesh Roshan, who has been representing Mahua for the past five years, broke down during a press interaction, highlighting his fear of losing the seat. This announcement has sparked tensions within the RJD, with party leaders scrambling to resolve the issue.
